Puppy

So i realized that since my computer's set like... a week ahead, all my post dates are... well... a week ahead! HAHA!

What's new? Made $100 at Dallas, got back in, spent time with my mom for a lot of it, got my permit again (lost it), etc. etc. Turned out the precious Border Collie pup I fell in love with had gotten sold :( so we talked to the breeder about another one of the pups, but it got sold too, and then turns out that the one I originally wanted became available again! Why? Because I'm supposed to have the pup! :D That's why. Nevermind the family who bought her had a father-in-law in the hospital. I got my puppy! :D So we began to discuss the dog, etc. etc. with the breeder via email, my dad wound up getting her Friday from OK - 200 miles out of the way to get her, then the long haul back to Houston. He's gotta go back up tomorrow afternoon. What a badass dad I have! :D

She's adorable! Oh wow is she a beautiful Border Collie. If you know anything about colorations in dogs, she's a "Cryptic" (as my sister said) Tri-Red Merle with blue eyes that are either dauntingly haunting, or captivatingly gorgeous depending on who you are. Like a layer of ice covering a pool of water. So crisp and featureless with so many features about them.. it's like.. I dont know how to explain it!

So, she's my new baby :D Quite the chick-magnet :D I took her to PetsMart today and WHOA did she get attention! Heeheehee. Border Collie = most intelligent dog (roughly the intelligence of a 5 year old [my bird has the intelligence of a 3 year old]) = easy to train, hard to keep busy, much activity and fun. I'm gonna look into agility training and flyball. She'll be loads of fun to take frisbee golfing at Bear Branch!

I think she'll take over my computer time. So instead of failing because of computer, I'll fail because of my dog - haha!

Well, to you all, I bid farewell. And since this is updated date-whise, i'll be doing the same to my computer once it's working again dot dot dot.

Re: woof

yeah - water actually makes it better. My chest really really hurts though ><; I don't know if it's from the build up of phlegm and crap, or because i've had to change my breathing as to not trigger an attack of coughing, or because i've been coughing so much, or what... I should see a doctor... oh well. I'll live.

Re: woof

Oh, and there's no point in HAVNG the pet if you're not gonna be in love with it :D *huggles aminals*

My bird feel neglected, I'm sure. I've been sick for the last 3 weeks. Future bird owners: They have weak immune systems, so don't really play with them etc when you're ill. Better they feel unloved for a week than be really ill and uncomfortable for a while. It's not easy tending to a sick bird.

Re: woof

They can catch human diseases? That is really odd, Dogs and humans can't catch eachother's colds. What do I know about birds, nothing,Ike loves birds though! Drink electrolite stuff too =-] Like pidia lite it tates like a rear but it is so good for you when you are sick, less sodium than gateraid. (no i don't know what that tastes like, it was just a figure of speach)

Re: woof

Yeah - birds can catch your colds and respiratory illnesses. Also, usually if you're sick you've got other bacteria and crap that's not being faught that the bird can get, so if it's not the exact illness, it's a side-effect illness.

Birds rock though :)

Pedia Lite? buh... Can I just trink tea/water with some lemon in it and hope for the best? :( I dont think I have a fever today, but I feel really really strange.. almost like I'm drunk/high - bordering either, or both. I might just be tired... buh...

Pedia Lite is actually extremely good for you. Down a few glasses real quick, it can't be that bad. It has a ton of electrolytes since it's made for little kids and helps you get better much faster. It is also great to drink if you've been dehydrated.

Just thought I'd share a few helpful facts for ya, sweets. I hope you get to feeling better!

You've inspired me to go look at dogs now. But I still won't buy one. Don't wanna become a pooper-scooper, if you get my drift. Keep it real man.

Don't get too high/drunk (whatever you get off of overdoses of cough medicine).

You trip off of amphetamines like Robitussin DM and Prometh, just to let you know.
